Dmoz has been unavailable for editing since 10/22 There was a major system failure, and while the database was saved, editors are still not able to access the site and modify websites.
there is no indication when editors will have access restored, but the DMOZ team is working hard to fix this.
This does not bode well for DMOZ's future, i just dont see how they can continue to exist as a nonprofit arm of AOL. They get limited support and are cast indifferent glances from corporate when assistance is needed. |
