When acquiring links and creating intra site links, it is best to focus site wide, rather than concentrating only on the homepage. Getting inbound links to internal pages helps your site become more natural and reduces the possibility of link devaluation.
If all your links point to the homepage, this is unnatural, and shows the search engines that there is potential optimization occuring, and that the webmaster is trying to game their algorithm. It is much more natural for other users to link to internal site pages, and this is something you should strive for when setting up a link campaign. |

| I would also as much as possible go for the anchor text in the links. Not only within your website, but also from other websites. This is a huge boost to rankings! |
