There are many things you can do. Except for search engine marketing won't help too much. A few things you can do are:
-communities
-forums
-newspaper ads
And much more. You will have to become creative. One very important thing is that you want people coming back. Do you have many sites listed already in your PPC engine? If not, why would people even do a search on your site.
To get more sites listed, maybe offer something like $50,- to your account when signing up??? |

Hi Lefty,
I agree with Maarten those are some great ways to promote PPC.
Another means would be to offer monetary credits, for bid, on ebay.
If doing this though, or giving away credits as incentive to join, use caution and don't give away too large a sum of credit to individuals...
By giving away too much credit you'll get people bidding on terms at higher per click rates than you'll see on Overture or anywhere else... thereby undermining your attempts and the overall credibility of the PPC.
I bought, via bid on ebay, $50,000 in credit on a PPC and so did a few others... so a couple of us ended up having a bid war not only on terms we were seeking, but also on the "catch-all" for terms that no one had bid on.
The PPC is now essentially finished as who's going to join a PPC that has people bidding $10 or higher for keywords that you can get on established PPC's for under a dollar.
just a word of caution...
best,

Pay per click marketing should be used only for web sites that are launching. If you build a site that is search engine friendly Google will soon pick it up and your traffic problems will be over.
If you happen to miss the sweet spot then you may want to continue with a PPC program, which is yucky who wants to pay? |
