pages that link to no other pages on your site are orphan pages, and do no good for the overall Page Rank of your site. This means that they do not count as content for your site, since they essentialy lie on the outside of your interconnected pages.

All the good text and content of a page is wasted if it doesnt link back to a good performing page of your website.
