Its been my experience that most savvy web designers can make websites that will do well in search engines.
Many problems arise when a web designer reads a few forum posts that say to create unweildy filenames loaded with keywords such as:
http://www.my-cool-amazing-keyword-laden-url.com/keyword-stuffed-directory/m
more-keywords-in-the-file-name.html
Even worse is registering long domain names overburdened with keywords.
What most people miss is the time intensive and tedious job of gaining
inbound links.
