Yes, I admit it, on my first web site I tried using doorway pages, with a measure of success. I was new to SEO then. I no longer use them.
However, about a month ago all x-hundred of the doorway pages disappeared from Google's results. It didn't matter much traffic-wise since I had moved away from that, but it was enough for me to notice.
Has Google discovered a way to filter doorway pages? |

| I do not recommend ever using false pages. Just create new content pages as you normally would, link them properly and you will be fine. no penalty possibilites. |

| Yeah, I don't use them anymore, I was just curious about whether or not Google has figured out how to devalue them since the old doorway pages I made when I first started disappeared without warning from the results. |
